My church pastor tells me at age 49 now that mental illness is a personal Choice I willingly made to be Autistic & having severe mood swings. The church tells me the reason I'm struggling with the Pity Party of mental illness that is totally fake is because I didn't keep religion enough lacked faith. I have been in the hospital with mental illness and on disability. The church tells me Drawing disability is just an excuse to Free Load because Psalm 139 mentions how I'm wonderful made and this is why I'm a liar to them about being in a struggle with mental illness. I was banned at 8 other churches for being different. I have tried to die 4 times now traffic related & F-4 Tornado related. I was in a very abusive upbringing and an unwanted child at birth. I'm so frustrated with circumstances I really feel God & Everyone is a failure & nonsense. I'm worried I may lose my disability now because Meds made me go from 150 to 350 lbs in a month and I had to learn to cope. I stepped out into the path of a semi truck back in 2013. The church says suicidal thoughts are only a pity party only to get attention and to show off. The church motivation was for my 4th suicide attempt 2 months ago by staying intentionally outdoors standing in the direct path of a very large tornado coming directly at my house & filmed everything. The tornado turned missing me by 100 yards. I saw a 1-1/2 mile wide 200mph tornado right in my face. I was very depressed and hoped to call it a night the church motivation through frustration got me mentally to this point of that level of wanting to move on plus frustration with peers threatening me life sentences in mental ward for saying I was depressed.

In my observation of sociopaths it had come to my attention that they may have their own language? Or at least Grammer is different in their speech. For instance the popular phrase "death to fascists" would really mean "death is in the hands of the fascists" or "the fascists are now responsible for death, we are not in this particular situation, but we are participating indirectly" a type of sociopathic dyslexia if you will This is an observation I have come by because I noticed quite a few people with narcissistic tendencies I know are Grammar Nazis. To the point that it seriously disturbs them. Probably as it deeply confused them. We know very little about the sociopathic mind and how differently their perception is. Just a thought This language is more perfected I'm the Eastern block and with languages that assign genders. Sociopath charts say anyway there is a higher concentration of sociopaths in former Eastern Block countries. The conclusion would be is they feel limited in speech which triggers them (sociopathic rage) if someone doesn't keep their Grammer and they feel inferior. Pronouns may also be a trigger because we are not fully clear how sociopaths see gender.

Mary Boyle's talk was so riveting and for me very accurate. God knows what the audience thought about it. And how therapy absurdly overlooks social context and socially driven vulnerability. Social context (not a great term, but) has a massive 'matrix' like impact. Such as poverty, such as the abuse of position and group power against others. Most theories about Autism, for example, are in fact a denial model of how people are treated and how this then imprints upon them, a sense of marginality. Empowerment is a found in social change, not individual (in one's mind) change.

I studied half of my BCS in regular clinical psychology and took a step back because I needed to think about what I'll specialise in. I think I know now! I'd love to work with victims and with offenders, or people who are both (as people frequently are). I have a strong background and understanding within crime, DV, SA, I'm from a council estate where half of my neighbours are in gangs, or are active criminals. I know people and I know how nuanced life and humans are, I really feel that the forensic side is suited to me. ❤

At least some of it boils down to demand from the consumers. I guess if society stimulates affection, caring, love and compassion, then the demand for such a market will be stimulated also. Given the definition of la-la-lave held by the majority of the princes of the universe and their zombies, Donald Trump and MAGA being a current supervillain type example - fair play to US Beebo for your part in his takedown at least, even if still only for the sake of other princes, some not so problematic - honestly, death is the only hope left for far too many people, except… for those living in scamperial ruled nations especially, it’s not allowed except in a way that princes and their zombies can either make money from it, or enjoy more directly, so… all we have is the silver lining that, with the planet itself gearing up to paint it, black, even the Ruler’s Utopia they’ve built will find out what a Great King Nothing it’ll be, in time.

I understand how we can all be cheered up by the fact that people can be helped to stay alive and be able to cope with the challenges they face. However I worked on a help line and was lucky that I never had a suicidal caller - though many of my fellow volunteers had a lot. I had many people who called the line extremely frequently and were depressed and had been through the treatment loop endlessly and were alive but were still in a very distressed condition ! Maybe the above cohort are not the most at risk ! but their continued distress is a cause for concern. Obviously we need to understand this better ! Very interesting insights here in this presentation. Great if we had a treatment intervention process and or medication that worked as well as meds work with other medical conditions. My own instinct tells me that its a thought that occupies the majority of people -on a low level -though they may not admit to this. Having a sad life with many disappointments and looking around the world as really is can't be any help !
